XDCC Catcher Pro needs to be activated
since version 2.2, because of anti-piracy protection. Activation is only
required the first time you start XDCC Catcher Pro on a PC or when you
change your hardware config. The Activation server can be offline for a
short period of time. Please go to
this page to see the
online status of the Activation server. Please note that this status is
not real-time. If the page says the Activation server is online, please
disable all (Windows XP SP2) firewalls, anti-virus software, etcetera
(temporarily) and try again. If you still can't activate, please send a
message to Technical support, so we can
activate your XDCC Catcher Pro install manually.
The process is not automated, so it could
last some hours before you receive your registration confirmation. If
you can't find your registration confirmation, please check your junk
mail folder. If
you've not received your registration details after 24 hours, please
send a message to qpayments {at} xdcccatcher.com (replace {at}
by @).
Some network and channel admins don't want
XDCC Catcher clients, because of an increase in bandwidth. Therefore
we've provided instructions to ban all XDCC Catcher Basic clients from
their networks and channels. Please buy XDCC Catcher Pro to connect to
almost any network and join almost any channel. Please note that we
strongly condemn all transfers of illegal, copyrighted and/or unethical
content.
Please follow the update instructions from
your registration confirmation (the message we sent you shortly after
your payment, including your registration details: Name and Key). You
should just (re)download the XDCC Catcher Pro 2.x setup package (link
included in your registration confirmation): this package can be used as
update and new install.
