The XDCC Catcher Team releases the fifth update for XDCC Catcher Basic: XDCC Catcher Basic 2.3.

A lot of bugs have been fixed and some new features were added. The changelog of version 2.2:

The XDCC Catcher Team often receives this particular question: How is it possible that my copy of XDCC Catcher Pro closes itself after I've started it or after one hour?

 

The answer is simple and clear: Because you're using XDCC Catcher Pro illegally. XDCC Catcher Pro contains a lot of protections against illegal use. If you're using an illegal Name and/or Key (maybe generated with a keygen) or crack, XDCC Catcher Pro detects this and closes itself immediately or after one hour.

This update is only available to XDCC Catcher Pro 2.0 members. These members have received all information necessary to update in their registration confirmation (You should just download the update from the same location as the XDCC Catcher Pro 2.0 Final setup package: the setup can be used as update and new install). Persons who'll buy XDCC Catcher Pro now or in the future, will automatically get the last version (2.0.2.0).

An update for XDCC Catcher Basic 2.0 will be available in two or three weeks and will contain the same updates as the XDCC Catcher Pro 2.0.2.0 update (except support for pools and the Restore Queue dialog update, because these functions aren't available in XDCC Catcher Basic).

After one year of intensive development and two release candidates (RC), the XDCC Catcher Team releases XDCC Catcher 2.0 Final.

 

XDCC Catcher 2.0 Final is the most advanced download manager for XDCC bots. It's available in two versions: a free Basic version and a paid (€10) Pro version.

 

Of course, a lot of bugs are fixed in XDCC Catcher 2.0 Final, for example the problems with DNS and resolving domain names. Unfortunately, it's impossible to list all bugfixes.

 

XDCC Catcher Pro 2.0 Final contains almost all new features since XDCC Catcher RC2 #2:

  • XDCC List request interface (send XDCC List requests and receive XDCC Lists)

  • Multiple network lists

  • Rollback check (prevents corrupted files)

  • Recent finished files list

  • Control XDCC Catcher by mail

  • Bot score (number to compare bots with each other)

  • Advanced NickServ support (to register and identify nicks)

  • Attention needed channels

  • Exit when finished (queue)

  • Shutdown when finished (queue)

  • Auto-clear (queue)

  • Reconnect on disconnect

  • Advanced user guide (in English)

The features listed above aren't available in XDCC Catcher Basic 2.0 Final.

 

Besides, the features listed below (which are already available in XDCC Catcher RC2 #2) have become Pro only features (so these features aren't available in XDCC Catcher Basic 2.0 Final):
